Classic miracle story: Frankfurt Week 8

Subject: Classic miracle story

Hello Family!

Happy Monday! I had an awesome week full of miracles and fun. It was a huge testimony to me of how God´s plan is better than ours and if we just do our best things will work out how God wants them to. Elder Domine [DadNote: A previous companion in 2015] and I were on a split [DN: companionship exchanging Missionaries for a day] on Wednesday and we started out by talking to people on the streets and in public transportation. We were following the loose plan that Elder Taylor [DN: current companion] and I had made the previous night and we stopped by the church to decide on a person to go visit. I narrowed it down to two names and Elder Domine picked out the R family. We went to visit them and Sister R was expecting us, hoping we would come. She had tried to contact the missionaries the day before but it didn´t work out, so the Lord sent us! We had no idea that it was such an inspired visit, but we were just doing our best to work hard and things worked out. Sister R and her children were home, as well as her husband who isn´t a member yet (but she said that he wants to be baptized soon). We gave him a blessing and had a very special visit with them, feeling God´s love for the R Family.

Say goodbye to Elder Mann! That would be fun for him to visit when Talyon and I are home again. People will be transferred on March 1st. Elder Taylor has this transfer left, then two more. I´ll get you some pictures of Elder Taylor and I next week, watch the canon cloud thing.

Love,

Hayden

Notes:
Elder Mann has been in our Ward for a long time. As a reminder, Elder Mann met Hayden and Talyon Perry at BYU. Hayden had 2 classes with him, including Jujitsu.

A priesthood blessing in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) is a "prayer for healing, comfort or counsel given by a Melchizedek Priesthood holder, who lays his hands on the head of the person receiving the blessing."
